Here at Birch Hall Care Centre , we appreciate that every resident is different. Each person living with us has their own personal plan that is unique to them. This covers not only their care needs, but also their personal preferences and tastes. We offer home cooked food, daily and themed activities as well as planned minibus outings. Our aim is to offer the best care every day.
Coming Soon: Our New Cinema Room!
We are delighted to be introducing a brand-new cinema room for our residents to enjoy. Our cinema will offer daily screenings of much-loved classic films, popular new releases, and interesting documentaries, giving everyone the opportunity to relax, reminisce, and enjoy time together. Whether it’s an old favourite that brings back happy memories or a new film to discover, our cinema room will provide a comfortable and welcoming space to socialise, unwind, eat popcorn and enjoy the shared experience of the big screen.

Katie Blackburn – MANAGER
From the very beginning of my career, I have been passionate about making a positive difference to people’s lives through high-quality care and strong leadership. Caring for others has always been at the heart of what I do, and over the years I have developed a particular passion for managing services, supporting staff to reach their full potential, and creating environments where people feel safe, valued and respected.
With over 20 years’ experience working within health and social care, I have progressed through a variety of roles before becoming a Registered Manager. I hold a Level 5 Foundation Degree in Social Care, which has provided me with a strong understanding of leadership, governance, safeguarding and person-centred practice. Throughout my career I have remained committed to continually developing my knowledge and ensuring that the people I support receive the highest possible standard of care.
My leadership philosophy is centred on compassion, honesty and teamwork. I believe that the best care is delivered when staff feel supported, listened to and empowered to provide exceptional, person-centred care. I am committed to creating a positive culture where residents, relatives and colleagues work together to continually improve the service.
