Grange Healthcare is committed to providing the highest quality of service in line with our mission and values to people that use our services and their families and friends as well as to the organisations that purchase or commission our services on their behalf and other stakeholders. Leading this area in the business is Joanne Howcroft RMN, LLB(Hons), Director of Quality & Governance. Joanne is also the groups CQC Nominated Individual. Joanne brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to this area being both qualified as a nurse and in law.
A Quality Assurance Framework has been developed, working closely with each Manager, providing Levels of Assurance which are:
- Integrated Planning, which sets the focus for “what we do” as a provider of nursing and care service excellence.
- Integrated Review, which sets the balances and measures to verify “how we know” Grange Healthcare is a provider of excellence.
- Risk Management, ensuring Grange Healthcare remains flexible to risks and their potential impact.
At an organisational level, the Quality Assurance Framework reflects a strong commitment to evidence-based decision-making and continuous improvement. This is consistent with Grange Healthcare’s aim to achieve excellence in all aspects of its work through accountability, collaboration, and teamwork. The Quality Assurance Framework is designed to maintain the highest standards in meeting regulatory and legislative requirements. We value feedback and participation from residents, visitors, and stakeholders in enhancing its effectiveness and acknowledges the importance of external reference points in monitoring and measuring performance.
